3rd December 2018 - Bewl Bridge Circular 27K

Last major hike of the year so we did go for a march around the Bewl water fingy place...erm….in the rain

Just before we gettid our balls dirty.

We are out in the rain cos dad says we have to - the silly sods in the boat were there for their pleasure.

Sadly, there was green algae on the reservoir so we couldn't go in for a swim to wash the dirt off - Brae doesn't care though cos he likes to be a grubby little Sammy

Here he is in his grubby splender

At least I managed to wash my feat

It rained so hard that it washed the colour out of Tony's Goatee. Brae was going in for the kill while the hoomans where distracted.

Aha!... sammich alert

Probably the worlds happiest dog

John was ecstatic cos he had been doin a dance around the Toadstools.

We had a look but there was no fairies under these

This is me being a clean boi

Brae cleaned up well too

If you want to do this hike, here is a map fing that Tony coloured in - FYI there is a pup in Wadhurst that is dog frenly called the 'White Heart' - not the grumpy old git in the 'Greyhound'

21st January 2017 - Bewl Bridge Circular 25K

First major hike of the year so we did go for a march around the Bewl water fingy place

We did have to wait in dads car until everybody was ready to go - this was a wewy noisy experience wiv lots of borking and stuff. Brae did put his cute face on so no-one could tell he was a being an norty boy

Brae did check to make sure the frost is cold enough for everybody to walk in.

The water was wewy cold, but we swimmed in it anyway.

Dad did shout for us to get out cos it was far too early in the walk for us to get wet and if the wind changed direction we would get stuck.

Brae did start to freeze to the ground and had to do a gigantic leap to free himself.

Brae is looking at the ice and wunderin iffin he could eat it.

We is wewy nearly turning into spooky sillowets.

Brae was dooing a ferocious bork at his shadow, cos it had been following him about all morning.

Apparently an whale was drinking all the water up, so the reservoir was getting wewy low

Brae was wunnin about on this giant letter 'T'

Fluffy butts suck up lots of water.......erm.......just sayin.

I did stop for a peruse

A dead persons name was carved in the back of this seat. I cant read, so I didnt!

We were looking really hard but we could not see our house from here. Brea did even give it a special squinty peek through his special bat mask..... nuffink

Brae is dooin a little lean on the verge cos he can't be bovvered to lay down or stand up.

He was quite happy though - So he did give us a little 'Blep'

Here it is iffin you want to go walkies.

Reservoir Dogs - 25K Bewl Water Hike on 16th January 2016

We did have a loverly hike on a crisp January day ..

This is me and Brae before we gettid too dirty. I is experimenting to see if my tung gets colder if I flop it out to the left or to the right.

This is me majestically getting a cold bum.

I fink Brae had spotted one of them bunny wabbits

I was admiring the particularly splendid bit of hedge pruning

Brae spotted a tiny morsel of food

I was guarding dads bag cos it had figgy rolls in it .

BRRRRR Frosty toes

Me and Wilson is playin a game called 'Hide amongst the humans' - Wilson is rubbish at hiding, Frank has got the idea though.

I waited patiently for someone to fall over on this slippery bridge - but they didnt.

There was some eejit floating about in a yellow canoe fing

We is all contemplating whether to jump in the reservoir - Me, Frank and Wilson are up-for-it but Brae said he finked the water might be a bit cold cos he spied some ice floatin about in it.

I did spot some air trapped under this ice so I did liberate it with some warm wee.

We did give Brae one last chance to be a hero. But he didn't come in - he said he quite liked the dirt around his tummy and was off to collect some more.

We, on the uvver hand washed our dirt off. Wilson's teef did rattle cos he did go in too deep.

This is nearly as dirty as you can get.

Brae did sit on this seat and contemplated - because he is a bit of a dillon, he contemplated that he would like to fly like a duck.

The next person to sit on this seat will take home a little bit of Brae with them...

Me and Brae did have a competition to see who could get the dirtiest - Brae did win cos he was covered wiv big dollops of mud.

I had a little nap while the bath was runnin

This is me being cleaner than Brae moments before he was dragged upstairs for his bath.

This is where we did do lots of wunnin around
