Bruvver Brae turns his paw to ... erm... verbal art.

A poem by Brae Softshadow

LOVE

There are so many fings in my life that I love,
sausages, biscuits and that old leather glove.
Stuff in the rubbish bin, sunny spots on the floor,
my box of half eated toys and the draught by the door
My dad’s socks, the middle of my dad’s bed,
my dad’s car where I hang out my head.
Chasing squiggles in the park up the trees (aaaarrrrrggg pesky Squiggles)
Long walks by the seaside and that cool winter breeze,
The lamp post on the corner and the one up the road,
the woods where I live especially when its snowed.
The fields and the meadows with a sharp winter frost
the streams and rivers (well the ones that I’ve crossed)
A pond, any pond as long as it’s wet,
my bruvver, my mum and even the vet.
Sheepsys, piggys, an orse and some cows
the doggo over the road when my dad allows.
They pale to insignificance when i see you
and my flopperty heart skips a beat or maybe two.
My darling food bowl, where have you been,
it’s been hours since last you were seen.

[dad had to do a interpret and type cos bruvver Brae is wubbish on a keyboard]

Walking With Clouds Meet - 24th March 2019

Chesworth Farm, Horsham

Brae is beside himself with happiness.

I is doin a lick.

Lupo has had his barth.

Braego is not Spartacus.... I am Spartacus.

Floof your butt-tactics.

Brae is king of the castle, I is a dirty rascal.

Hoomans just standin around. Why is they not sniffing bums like the rest of the animal kingdom?

Odd man out.

Charge... and heckin charge again.

Davey is wunnin around boinking everydogsbody in the face.

Hay bois… come join me in the water.

SPLOOOOPP.

Ha... mum n dad is doin us a frighten by looking like a shadow.

2nd March 2019 - 28km North downs hike.

Our route across the North Downs on a slightly damp day in March

Brae likes to be at the front so we can enjoy the magnificence of his giant fluffy butt.

I was doin a perturb sitting next to a certain death drop

Everybody was reading a map, cos they didn't know where they were going

aha...… an open vista where I can sing sweet tunes into the wind - or do a giganticus BOOORK.

Brae is doin a float in the air

Brae joinded in an a humungus BOOORK

They is lost again - Hoomans is so silly, you only has to follow your nose

Me n Brae doin a speed past..... voooom.

What th... did you say samich

We gettid tied up cos we is a pain in the arspe when there is a porky pie or samich bein bandied about

Heckin great pile of steps - better going down than up... trust I

Ah the field at the beginning/end of our hike - just the pub to head for now.

This is the line of dots that joins up to be some sort of route that we sort of follow.

11th March - East Kent beaches

Botany Bay and Kingsgate Bay

This is our mum.....nuff said

Brae said he didn't want to sit still for this picture..........so he didn't..!!

Castle behind us was built in the 1760's - Brae doesn't give a monkeys cos he doesn't remember that far back

Dad said 'DAMMIT Brae .......will you sit still for just one moment'

This me being one of Mrs White Hens chicks

Brae said he was off to collect some sand in his underbelly (which is very close to the ground)

I finded an interestin lump of rock that had probably been wee'd on by every dog in the neighbourhood

Brae is resistin the temptation to do a heckin run off -  steady boi...

This was dads favourite view. Probably because it was from the pub garden.

I don't know what this hole is called.

We did a bit of wunnin about in the sea.

One of these is mum with her Mothers Day happy face on - the other one is a big fluffy bum.

Because it is a special day. we are keeping mum company.....but not for long. Ready, Set, Leggit-lill

There is lots of slippery sea-weeds growing over the rocks. I did do Brae a frighten by tellin him that them sneaksy pelicans live in the weed and would gobble him up iffin he strayed from the path. He cried like a boo-baby and ran to shore

Brae is keeping an eye out for them pesky Pelicans

You has got to have wide apart eyeses for this picture..

Mum is guarding this hole

Hold the phone..... haven't I sniffed this rock before...............nah..... its got a different whiff about it

We did go and find the sea in amongst the fog

Typically, mum is havin a hot chocofing while we is starving to death

Brae wasn't entirely sure wevver he liked the sea in the fog.

I did........

and so did brae eventually

Brae is keeping a look out for seagulls, cos sometimes they has fish and chips in their beeks.

Dad made us sit still in this ....erm....

I luvs the sea

We luvs the sea.
