Brae was upset cos he didn't  win the 'stick-your-tung-out' competition, so he went off in a huff

Not content.. he has got to make this game out of everything - dad telled him not to be silly and just look at the lovely view

I is finking I would like to roll about in this fresh straw

It was quite warm so me and Brae had a little cuddle by the style

We has got to get to the hill on the uvver side, but first we had a big down to do and a flippin nasty up

Good job we finded this massive troff to have a malarkey in

Then it was time for a nap while dad eated his pies - we had figgy rolls cos we luffs them

It was a lully hot day

Bruvver Brae also needed to raise his fragrance levels

This is the view from between mine earses looking towards some hill or anuvver

This is the hill looking back at me..

This is the lovely Hargate Forest just on the borders of Tunbridge Wells

This is Braes fluffy butt on he borders of decency

Sometimes we spots a slippery serpent sliding in the undergrowth - sometimes we just spots a flutterby that needs a good lookin at

C'mon Brae, I know where there is a giant wood ants nest that needs digging up

What th... next fing you know, we is whisked off to the sea - I fink mum and dad didn't like our new 'forest fragrance'

Its a bit of a scramble to get to Cow Gap.. plus, there are no flippin cows here.

But there is the loverly sea that is good for an impromptu sploot

Fluffy butt Sunday

Grazing the high peaks on the Downs - dunno why, I don't even like grass

26 & 27th August, 13k Seven Sisters Hike and 13k Tonbridge Locks Hike

It was a wewy hot Bank Holiday weekend, so dad decided to take us out into the sun....pffft

We were part of the South Coast Challenge for the Seven Sisters bit

Sometimes, you need to look at life from a different perspective.

These are our side bags for carrying stuff - Brae did carry dads loocos-aid

I did carry an assortment of other items - including a spider and a dead ant.
Dad had to carry all our water for the hike, so his backpack was the biggest and the heaviest.

It was wewy hot so we had to stop several times for a drink of water - fortunately Brae was quite cool cos he found his own shadow to sit in....

We looked out and realised the extent of our Saturday hike - If I could speak hooman I would tell dad what an utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter,  utter, utter, utter, B'stard he is

Dad though it would be nice iffin we marvelled at the sight of this flippin old lighthouse - Brea was clearly unimpressed

Just this big hill to climb down and we can find the sea.

AAAAAAHHHHH............................  and relax.

Have a quick dry off in the sunshine

And dad promised to take us along the sea front for an Ice Scream.. Yummy

Here is a map of the walk (excluding the seafront bit)

Day 2- Sunday - Dad, Mum, Brae and I did anuvver 13k along the Medway

This is Brae in amongst the Bee Balm

This is me amongst the hay in the ....erm....hay field. I did spot dads pasty and was doooing a hovver.

This is a lock fingy where a boat has conveniently parked so Brae can investigate whether there is any samiches available

Ahhhh lubberly jubbely

We did play 'foller the leader' for a little bit, I did foller Brae the wrong way for ages - his direction-o-meter is completely wrong

Fortunately we did find a pub that served a Bloody Fine Harveys according to dad - so he had two of them.

We sat in the herb garden so we could be fanned cool by the bumbly bees..

This is Town Lock at Tonbridge

This is a map in case we want to do it again and dad loses his memory/marbles

3rd June 2017, Chanctonbury ring - 26 Km in the loverly sunshine.

First of our summer walks on the South Downs. Starting at Washington anti clockwise through Wepham, Findon, Steyning and onto the Chanctonbury Ring

We did a giant run at this gate and smashed it down to get to the water

This is the first of many troffs that required me to stand in them and drink thems wholesome goodness

Don't get the idea that I was enjoying gawping at these flowers ... Dad made me sit there ....mm........pretty though.

I is a 'Pointer'

We was looking forward to lunch time cos that's the time that Brae cruses the samich boxes for figgy biskits ............We luffs figgy biskits.

We took a moment to remember stuff at the entrance to this grave-yard  - we remembered that we was still hungry and that there was bones in this place that might need a bit of diggin up, but then Brae did a frighten on himself by imagining ghostees and ghouls.....

Demonstrating our ability to float in this heckin great orse troff.

This is us looking as majestic as we know how....

....then we gettid bored.....

.....and decided to look like some sheepsys rollin about and eating sneks in the grass.

Brae finked he was getting a bit tired cos he couldn't quite manage a zoomy here. I sticked my tung out at his see if he finked it looked like a sossage

Brae was all upset cos I ate the sossage

We did park in a car park where the arrer is pointing and walked like a clock going backwards
